The Artist Behind Dreamtide

Kelli Wilson

Art has always been my way of processing emotion, telling stories, and forging connections.

Formally trained in Studio Art at MiraCosta College in San Diego CA, I spent years working with acrylics before recently transitioning to oils. This shift has allowed me to experiment with richer textures, deeper layers, and a more immersive creative process. My work often focuses on women, animals, and the ocean, blending realism with dreamlike elements to capture strength, vulnerability, and the unseen narratives within my subjects.

Beyond personal expression, my art has also been a way to give back. I’ve had the privilege of creating artwork for military veterans' non-profit organizations, using my skills to honor those who have served and bring awareness to veterans exposures to toxic chemicals while overseas.

I hope to evoke emotion, spark reflection, and create pieces that resonate with the viewer’s own experiences.
